So far this Summer...

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged…but life kind of got in the way. Any who…some fun interesting things have happened since my last blog post. I finished up school (and got a 3.3 G.P.A. with 19 units, very happy), moved back home, and started working full time. Lots of great things are happening this summer and I plan to blog about them all as best as I can. So I’m going to start off with 2 things…

Bucket List Item # 40: Attend a ball

            So a couple months ago I mentioned to my “Twin” Amanda that it was on my bucket list to attend a ball. As a girl I wanted an excuse to get all dressed up in formal attire and go out, and lets admit it, after high school dances not many of those chances come up. So about 2 months ago Amanda asked if I was interested in going to a Marine Corps coming home ball, and of course I had to seize the opportunity. So she set me up with one of her boyfriend’s friends and it was set that we were going to go to Vegas in June for the ball. This was all decided about mid-April and it seemed like a million years away. Well the weekend finally came and it was one of the most amazing weekends I’ve had in a while. The group I went with was beyond awesome and I owe the weekend to them. Vegas was a blast, and even though I’m not 21 I still had a great time. I got to dress up all fancy and see some men look very snazzy in their uniform. I also got to bond with one of my future roommates and get a closer connection with one of my best friends. To sum it up…just incredible.

Bucket List Item # 12: Buy a Louis Vuitton Purse

            So I know how ridiculous this bucket list item is, and the fact that I would spend that amount of money on a purse (trust me I’ve heard it all before) but getting a Louis Vuitton bag is something I’ve wanted to do ever since I knew about luxury brands. So this summer I decided it was time for me to splurge and just buy it. No more wishing and hoping it was time to just do it. I’ve basically worked full time every summer since I was 16 and I finished up 3 years of college in 2 so I thought it was about time to treat myself to a little reward. So this is it…. My Louis Bag:

I ADORE this thing. I know people will see it and have negative comments but you know what im happy with my purchase and that’s all that matters.
