Day 26- Dream Wedding
Once again, just like dream house/kitchen, I haven’t really put much thought into my “dream” wedding. I know this is something every girl thinks about, and I’m sure if you ask my Big Sis and Twin they will explain it to you down to the shoes they’ll be wearing, but my wedding isn’t something I’ve put much thought into.
I blame my Marriage and Family class my senior year of high school. You see our final was to plan a wedding, legitimately. We had a $25,000 budget and everything had to be real (quotes from websites/venue/caterer/photographer etc) and it was worth 1000 points, yes one THOUSAND. Well I decided to partner up with my friend Chris, a la “man and wife”, and well like a real wedding I got no help from him. So I did it on my own, and no hard feelings…until I got the chicken pox because of it (you see my doctor gave me the chicken pox shot, at 18, even though I’d already had them, “new procedure” they said) So basically I got the chicken pox, just a small out break, not contagious or itchy but I had spots on my stomach….a week before senior ball (love you Chris =) !). Needless to say that project definitely traumatized me and made me totally want to avoid planning a wedding for a while, because of the stress and also discovering how much it would really cost me (I have expensive tastes).
One part I loved about the project though was the honeymoon. So here you have it my Dream Honeymoon:
Maybe I’ll get married at city hall and spend my wedding budget on this…ya RIGHT!!
Well now you’ve learned more about me and my “wedding planning” than you ever needed to but I’m an open book and this is just another one of my “only in my life would this happen” experiences….but seriously if you ever need a laugh, talk to me…I got some interesting events that have happened to me =)
