Day 27- Photo of the City you live in

Ok this is going to be a 2 part-er.

My hometown...

 

 This is where i'm from. Ventura, CA. I have lived here my entire life, in the same house too. I definitely have a love hate relationship with this town. In high school I was one of those people that counted down the hours until it was time to get out of there and go to college. Having been away for a little while I now have an appreciation for my hometown. I miss that place, maybe not much of the people but that’s a different story. It’s such a beautiful place and I’m so proud to call it my home. On that note though I don’t think I will live there when I’m older but I’m happy that when my kids ask me to take them to where I grow up I can take them to the beach town between Santa Barbara and L.A.

Current Location….

The "Beautiful" San Fernando Valley

Northridge, CA. Definitely have an extreme love/hate relationship with this place. I HATED it last year, my freshman year of college, I missed home, I went through some tough life changing things and the valley just isn’t optimal sometimes. This year though, probably because I joined a sorority I have found a new appreciation for this place. Last year as soon as classes were over I would race home and not come back until the last minute (like make people at a commuters campus do) but now I do the opposite, I wait until the last minute to go home (to work my 20 hours) and race back as soon as I get out of work on Saturday night. This place has really started to feel like home and I’m so happy about that.
